What do you guys think of te Masterblend Eldiablo?

It can run dual wands and up to 2000 psi with Kerosene Heat 195,000 BTU.  It also can run vacuum hoses up to 500-700 feet.  Not a large machine and it only goes for $12,500 brand new.

I think I am going to purcase one?

Going from a Truck force to TM!!!

I use a Truck Force now attached to a Honda Generator.  So I am use to filling up 2 fuel sources anyway.  Plus I can't imagine the Kerosne being that much.  It is supposed to last a while.

$20 dollars for 5 gallons of kerosene.

The Eldiablo is not smelly like older machines.

Me and my family are distributors and good friends with Masterblend.  Believe me this truckmount is a great cleaning machine.

this is just my opinion but if you're burning kero it's gonna stink

whether it smells inside or outside the van.............it's still smelly

about 325 hrs on my Legend XL so far and I'm still very happy with it

I had bad experiences with a Powermatic so I'm turned off from kero

I thought propane was an option with the El Diablo???

Propane is an option and it is rated at 125,00 btu.  The Kero is 195,00 btu so you can use it for Presure washing.

I have customers that always need pressure washing so hopefully 6 or 7 out of every 10 jobs I get I'll end up doing there sidewalk, house, deck or whatever and make an average $200-$500 extra each job.

That will add up over the year.  I figure that could be an extra $50,00 just in pressure washing if I do 5 jobs a week of pressure washing.  I won't end up doing that much but it will help anyways.

qcraftsman,,, like i said check out other bb's...

Truckforce is a powerful TM...

What is the psi on the ElDiablo?????????

2000 ??????????

Looked at it but didn't see psi rating.

Date Posted: 18/February/2006 at 12:42am

I already have a Truckforce and it is night and day compared to any regular TM especially the eldiablo.

These other TM's your telling me to look at are no names.

MAsterblend is a well known company and i still know there not well known for TM's but it is a reliable company.

Congrats on the new TM.........

Accelerated,, PowerClean,, ProChem are no names????

Explain please....

Posted By: Steaminpile
Date Posted: 18/February/2006 at 1:46am

Accelerated is a bit of a no name to most people

Powerclean only has one distributor in Canada and the guy recently passed away.......so unless they're a board geek  like us most Canucks haven't heard of them but they are steadily growing in the U.S.

I'd have troubles being one of the first to buy a TM no matter who made it......but definately CONGRATS and best of luck dude!!!

getting a new machine is cool

Steaminpile, thanks...

John L, yes Accelerated is definetly not well known all over the country as well as PowerClean.

I don't remember saying anything about Prochem not being a well known TM company.  Its obvious they are the biggest.

What's a few degrees given up to gain reliability? Not much. Both will give you more heat than most can use.

Hey, I use kerosene heat now and I love it. Sometimes I have to wear gloves because the wand is so hot. LOL I guess that much heat is overkill for residential but it sure does get the nasty rentals and restaurants done.

-------------
It could always be worse. I mean you could be some carpet stain being emulsified by pre-spray all the while watching a wand spraying really hot solution aiming stright for you.

yeah i like the idea of being able to adjust the heat beyond usable temps

My propane unit was fully adjustable, had it at 260 degrees once way to hot to work with. Usually cleaned around 210-220. Turned it up if needed.Big smile

Nobody really needs this extreme heat anyways.Temps up to 240 can easily be obtained from the HX units these days. These can be PTO driven or water cooled slide-in units. They will give you a very reliable machine PLUS all the heat you need for most jobs.
