helpful customers
you know the ones
they move all the furniture to the middle of the room or pull on your hoses while working and they always leave you with not quite enough slack
how do you ask these customers to politely F off ?

Theres a few things I do....
if pre-spraying I'll spray them on purpose
if they move all the stuff to the middle before I pre-spray..I'll aks them to move it back while I set up(then I just sit in the van and drink a coke or have a coffee)
if they try and help me pull hose...and it's really bugging me...I'll take a time out...head out to the van and drink a coke or have a coffee, by the time I get back most times they've gone
if it gets really bad and you need a minute to fart... I call the house number so they go running for the phone... or ask for a drink of water...just to get them out of my hair.

if they try and help me pull hose...I smile and give them a $10 dollar discount, depending on how well they pull my hose...I'll take a time out...head out to the van and strip naked and run down the block- by the time I get back most times they've gone, but the police are waiting for me.
if it gets really bad and you need a minute to crap... I call the 1 900 number so they go running for the phone while I stink out the joint... or ask for a urine sample...just to get them out of my hair.

He has to learn to respect equipment......
I love to service stuff but he never brings it around until there is a problem, he is a hard worker and an excellent cleaner. Just that he has no respect when it come to handing in paper work, making sure the inside of the truck looks somewhat tidy, and servicing the darn thing.
I give him free range to drive it when he wants to clean for extra cash when he wants on my dime.
he thinks I'm bitchy...wait til he has to say "Can I take your Order please" a thousand times a day

I'll scale back only advertise my own area......one truck is more than enough...

Why is this? They see how I take care of the equipment. I make it plain that next to customer service is equipment service, still it won't sink in.
Had a helper throw a commercial vacuum in the back of the van and then throw an air mover on top of it. Boke the vaccum. He acted like it was the vacuums fault.
He was a great helper.

How bout stake in employment, how bout stake in, if I have to replace equipment you break I can't afford to give you a raise.
