Mr. Patel; this is an American made machine. I don't know why everyone immediatly thinks China when they see a new piece of equipment come to the market. I am thinking that India would be a much better choice to lower the cost of a machine. After all, they are a democracy over there, eh?

The Activator is made for us in sunny California. The manufacturer wants to enter the market with big volume and set the price low to do so.

Although I don't see the price staying there too long.

Actually Chuck, the Chinese don't even want to talk to any small manufacturer unless there is a Million dollars or more involved. The Idians have a very low labour cost as well, and will do deals as low as $20,000 or more, which is much more practical for a small businessman starting a project.I have looked into both countries for manufacturing goods, and the Indian prices are just as competitive on the smaller goods orders.

I have dealt with Singapore, China, Malaysia, and Tiawan when I was in manufacturing.  I was working for larger corporations.

That is a $1699 Cdn machine Steamer, last time I was talking to Ted about it. There is a package deal with pads for $1999 as well I believe.

Regarding checks:

This is a bad testimonial to this Industry however, over the past years we have collected $45,000.00 of worthless checks. Enough to wall paper with. In fact, we still have every bad check to this day as a reminder and evidence just in case someone asks, "Why not, you can trust me!"

Oh, absolutely. Therefore, please forward a bank check!

(But, nowadays, we are much smarter.)

Good Fortune and sorry for the bad news Gentlemen;

Ed Valentine

Don't quote me on this, but when I asked Ted this question, I believe he said $12 each. That would be Canadian dollars. To you Americans that is near $10 in your currency.

Mr. Steamer I would think because of the pads that would take alot of plumbing.

Steamer and doug,

The Activator does not have a locking device on the handle. It free floats and a water tank may make it too heavy to handle plus the water may vibrate out of the tank.

I sold one to a cleaner who came from Montreal on Saturday. He used the method of allowing pads to soak in a ringer type janitorial bucket and wrang them out before using.

It works very well as I have found that if you do not use enough pre-spray the pad dries out very quickly due to friction.

P.S.
This man had a serious grafite on carpet problem and found that this method was his answer.

I believe Padman can have a spray system because this unit actually has wheels touching the carpet elevating the weight problem. I feel we will be selling this unit soon. I first want to get a better feel for satisfaction with the http://www.kleenkuip.com/products/the_Activator.htm - Activator .

Our web is now creating many Activator Inquiries from the U.S.A.

A Canadian wants to buy half a system. The American wants it all.

Soon as someone buys one from Pad Man and make a copy.

Seems to be an acceptable practice in this business...........to knock off someone else's idea..........after all Doug........trade secrets is just a phrase.

You may have noticed very little on a once hot topic from KK regarding our Activator OP Machine.

That's because we sold out and our supplier is totally redesigning the equipment for its betterment and your bottom line.

Hold tight...it's coming!
