Sounds like a great idea, right? Let's get some insight into the business for those newbies just getting involved in the industry. Myself, I am new to carpet cleaning and would love to hear some words of wisdom from the veterans.

LET'S TRY TO KEEP PRODUCT SPECIFIC INFO OUT OF THIS. WE ALL KNOW ROTOVAC IS THE BEST, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, HOW ABOUT SOME USEFUL INFO ABOUT STUMBLING BLOCKS, TECHNIQUES, ETC?

I appreciate all comments on this thread, please feel free to contribute.

JaredW: It is well known around here my knowledge is very limited when it come to the Cleaning & Restoratin industry. Lets forget about the stumbling blocks and try to use some constructive building blocks that are needed to try and construct a successful and profitable business. All the old fat wand guys did all the stumbling so the younger one ones who want to learn would not have the same problems they faced and make the same mistakes.  Each and everyone services a different area and unfortunately what works for one will not neccessarily work for the other.  You as an operator can attend seminars and workshops but they are to give you the knowledge necessary to succeed, what you do with it is up to you. Well I started this thread now lets see where it goes.
