what's the best wand you ever used? and what did you pay?

i admit I use an economy PMF 2 jets SS double bend on my heated porty's. ($350.00 - $450.00)

I had a more expensive PMF but it also was too damn heavy.

i have been reading up on some that claim improved dry times and more cfm etc...etc...

also what's the big deal about titanium?

It is not just that the wand is made of Titanium, cause that only knocks the weight down by 3 to 4 lbs from the savings in weight over steel. The big difference is in the cast head it uses which improves the airflow getting into the wand and of course that glides fit it better as well.It is the best wand out there presently being sold............for now.

titanium is light and strong

the prochem titanium is supposed to have a very well designed head on it.

I also use a 2" tubed PMF 802,,,,,works fine for me and is nice and light weight

I think if Steamway made their wands in a 2" tubed model it would be da bomb

superior flushing , a wicked heat sheild, and very well made IMO.....but I would opt for the Sbend myself

I still fancy the Pro Chem 4 jet wand. I have tried others but I guess it is operator preference.  But I will admit a glide has made it an even better wand.

The reason I developed the SuperGlide was because the easyglide wand was not easy to push.

The titanium wand is the king of wands in my book, and it is the wand we run on our truck and I use daily. It has superior flow, excellent construction and durability but it also has a few design flaws (dripping, jets hitting the center pipe)which are fixable, but at the price that wand is, it should be perfect right out of the box.

I am also impressed with the California Metal Products 14" low profile wand in the 2" tubed model. It is also high flowing and very maneuverable and comfortable to use, but it is not made to withstand years of use and abuse, but it is nearly half the price of the titanium. This is the same wand that Blueline and a few others use.

Ted should be able to order either of those wands for you.

Take care,

Lisa

i was wondering if you're buying them local or importing them yourself...and paying duty / gst / pst etc...when UPS shows up at your door

I bought mine from the Krazy Kenadian with a glide on it

but I'm sure he got it from the states

stepping up to a 2" tube has decreased dry times

the hose can be a pain in a furnished home at times though, but I've gotten used to it and an 1 1/2 wand feels girly now

Canadians will get a chance to buy the world's best performing wands later this Summer, and they will be made in Canada. With none of the drawbacks on the present Ti wands.

I have a ProChem machine, but when I got the machine, I didn't get the ProChem wand...they just don't make a wand that I like...I think mine is a Century...I forgot who made it...I got it about 6 yrs ago when I got the machine...it's inch and a half...have a reducer cuff on my lead hose...I hate 2 inch wands...inch and a half's are easier to grip...
