would you use the same jets with a 500psi as a 100psi machine?

I say no but some experts say yes.

I know all about over-wetting but let me ask you this, do you think there us also such a thing as "under-wetting"

DLD,  you would not use the same jets with a 100psi as you would with a 500psi.

I would use a #6 equivalent irregardless

 

 

I like to flush the soils,not pressure wash them

a total of 6 is good for 100psi

do you ask the customer what machine they have and do you jet the wand accordingly?

Yes I do.

100psi............08 jets
200 to 400 psi....06 jets
500psi plus.......04 jets

the smaller the jet size the higher the pressure/psi

 

more likely to overwet IMO

 

the larger jets (I run 2 #3's all the time) the more flow and flushing of soils as long as you have adequate recovery

 

All IMO
