OK, in August of this year I'll be offloading my leased van and reverting to a decent car 'cus I deserve it.

I believe that in the next few years:

Interest rates are going up.  Gas prices are going up.

I plan to buy and keep a decent car that's good on gas and will last a long time.  In the $30k-45kCanadian, price range

So regardless of brand would you pick:

A/ Brand new or 1yr old, 2 yrs  old or older etc.

Whcih of these brands do like and why:

B/ Prius

    Subaru

    BMW

    Jaguaar

    Volvo

    Audi

    Lexus

   Nissan Infiniti

    Mercedes

    Acura

    Saab

 Thanks

Sorry Harry,

I'm just a Canadian carpet cleaner. I can't afford any of these until I get on the IICRC BOD and "line my pockets"

Seriously though,

I like the looks of most Acuras, BMWs and Lexus. As far as reliability goes, check out Consumer Reports website.

Love my Lexus, great car and great service from my dealer. The Prius is great on gas. as a matter of fact, a friend has one and told me he just drove to Florida and back on $50.00 for gas.

Get a camel Harry, and you will not care what gas prices do from here.

Cause you deserve it.

Other than gas consumption what else do you know or like about Prius?
Thanks

here ya go...

A/ I'm buy an off lease certified car..WAY cheaper!

    Subaru

BMW- I have an older one..the ultimate driving machine!  The new 7 series reliability is not as good as in the past.  GREAT CARS!!!

Jaguaar -  better since Ford in in the picture.

Volvo - Nice!  Friends are happy with them.

Audi- underated..I really like these cars

    Lexus

   Nissan Infiniti

Mercedes - new CLS is one of the sexiest cars I've seen in a LONG time...I WANT ONE!!!

    Acura

    Saab

my.02!

AND..whatever you do...don't get the leather interior, if you rip or stain it the guys who fix it will rip you off BIG TIME!!  f**king crooks!!!
