What is a good portable machine to start a business with? I need something  that's not  over 100 pounds. Do the ninja's work well?

                   Thank You!!!!

Ninja is still the world's best selling portable for good reason. Dollar for dollar, you get more for your money with a ninja machine.Get the one with the 2 3 stage vacuum motors and 500 psi pump for best performance. If you need to spend a little less than that one, get the 2 3 stage model with the 200 psi pump instead.

You can pic up a Mytee for around 15. 2-3stage with heat

i love the mytee i have one and the suction, the heat, the pressure are just
awsome.
also have a namco husky 2-3 stage 250 psi no fresh water tank just drop
the line in a bath tub or bucket and your ready to go.

The most power is Recoil 3hp -- 2-3stage, 1-2stage. Mine has 3-3stage.

                                                OR

The Pelican --  4-2stage.

These 2 portys will blow away the ninja any time any distance.

Ninja is very easy to carry, better than Mytee.

but with 500psi and 2x3 vac you might start popping breakers...careful if you're going  into a lot of old homes/buildings.

Anyone running high powered portys should have onboard generator. Why run all them cords and pop breakers. Might never get them back popping breakers. Custy's are funny that way. Live and learn..Smokey

well for me the mytee works good im in vacant apartments so if i blow a
breaker its ok but i think its only happend 1 time.
i would never do a home with a porty. tm only.
only time i use porty is if tm wont reach.
if you are worried about breakers with the mytee just run only first half of
heater or no heat at all.

BLOWING BREAKERS is unexceptable, period. A great system should not be an inconvient one.

Just my opion.

Dennis, Have you ever built anything? manufactured anything or invented
anything? and wanted to share it by selling it to others?

And if you did ,

would you want someone like yourself there to attack your efforts
incessantly ? What do you get out of it? Just wondering

Yes

Yes

Yes

No

BUT....I wouldn't LIE about what I do and sell.  If Ken had come clean and stopped the BS, there are a LOT of guys around who would have bent over backward to help him (me included).  We (guys in the industry) have discussed it.  I know a LOT about maching and manufacturing...I have helped Greenie..'cause he is a stand up guy.

Your point is taken, I too like to deal with people who can look you in the
eye when they deal with you and treat you with good old fashion
honesty. On that we agree!

On your continued obsession with the matter we differ in approach.
So be it.

I own a ninja 400 2x3 vac with heat. EXCELLENT MACHINE. Very dependable and durable. If your starting out and can't afford a truck mount then I defenately suggest getting a Ninja. You will love it and get many many years of use out of it.

JohnL : I don't care what you are using to clean with parking that close to a window and the building is just plain not right.  Taking control? Does that mean throwing all common sence out the window.  Taking that kind of control around here would get you but one thing. FIRED!!!!!!!! It is not the tennets fault  because you want someone to think you have a tm.Guitar

Maybe you shouldn't have told him, Doug. Let him learn the hard way that common sense is a big part of the service business.

John what kind of a TM do you have in your truck???  I don't want to say what it reminds me of.

A RECOIL 2HP modified with another high perf. 3 stage... running 3-3 stage vacs... and HEAT...this was a burber she had and only had to run 50'..took 1.5hrs to do the job and the farthest room was almost dry to the touch when i left...a referral...she was very very happy...

Adwa..What does it remind you of ? ? ?

Posted By: Adwa

A portable John.  The front of it reminded me of an advance machine I once saw. If it was a TM I didn't want to insult you by saying that.

I understand this Cmaster.......and I know you understand what I was saying ................... but I wanted John to understand my thinking.

Oh ya

NO..NO Adwa... Go ahead ... well you did... In my book it's not and insult.. why would you think that.. most portys come with 2-3vacs like the ninja.. i have 3-3vacs..heat... i love my porty... maintenance free..... results are the same as when i had my TM's...

Sure..not the TM power or speed.. but she's pretty powerful...

Some guys get a TM and they move the wand so fast their dry times and cleaning results suffer.... unhappy custy..

In the last 6 yrs (when i got my recoil) I have heard so many horror stories about the last guy who cleaned the carpet it's pathetic....

I always ask a new custy when I'm their..who cleaned it last time... and why didn't you call them back... took 2 days to dry and were in and out in 30min.. (rookies) and they had a TM..

It's the operator ! ! ! not the machine ! ! !

Sure.. A TM will get-r-dun faster...

Your talking to a long time biz man/cleaner here... Had 2 TM's... somewhat miss the speed and extra power.. BUT.. i sure don't miss the maintenance and high cost of parts......

I can use a kirby and get-r-dun and as clean as anyone with a TM...BUT it will take me all day.. LOL ! ! !Pimpin'

With the high cost of gas.. I am glad i switched...Customer satisfaction is what it is about... not your unit... they don't care....

While i was their cleaning her neighbor was nosy and i booked her and the owner was there too... Now i have the whole apt. complex...200 apt's.. such is life...

John;

ONCE AGAIN, you have shown and proven that the RECOIL 3 HP system can and did meet the challenge of superior cleaning under most any situation.

It may not look like a generic gasoline TM, but it surely will deliver the results as good as (at least) anyday. We have proven this for 28 years now.
