Hi,

I'm a newbie and plan to clean carpets part-time. I have an Oreck Orbitor unit for scrub/bonnet cleaning and want to offer HWE cleaning too. I was thinking about the Rhino 2500 unit 100psi with 150 WL or Power flite's PFX 1080 with or without perfect heat.

I like the Rhino because it weighs 64 lbs compared to the PFX weighing about 94 lbs to spare my back. But, I like the wheels on the handles on the PFX too.

I noticed on prior discussions that the Power Flite units may not be the best. Any opinions on the Rhino 2500 unit would be appreciated.

THX,

Well, I own a power flite Black max perfect heat 500psi and i've been running it now for over 3 years and I haven't had one problem with it. So it may not be the best but it's up there with the best IMO. I hope this helps.

Thank You Nick! This helps alot. Do you have Perfect Heat only? I noticed some Power flite units have electric too. Do you think it's necessary? And do you think more than 100 psi is needed to clean carpet like maybe 200 is better or 500 psi is ideal?

THX

P.S.

Thanks Ed for your input too!

Maybe adding a roto vac 360 and portable heater I use one when I use the cimex it heats the water to 180 . the roto vac will not wet the carpet to much less problems later
