That's my situation exactly. I'm waiting on my recoil 3XPS to arrive. I'm 46 and I'm simply not lugging a heavy extracter up and down stairs. You can break Your back and damage the extracter doing that. 200 ft of hose is really nice and will allow me to clean 2-3 story houses on the beach. I plan to normally use just a 50 foot section for most of my work unless I need the extra hose. 25 Ft of hose and dragging the extracter around from room to room? That's for the birds.   I don't think You can go wrong with a recoil.

Jeff,

Do you use Cool Cuffs to connect your hoses?  If you're not already, they sound like a much better option over standard hose connectors, as they won't reduce airflow.

Jeff, do you also do much tile? If so, can you share with me/us what machine you use?
