Most jobs really only require single wand. Most machines do not perform well dual wanding even though they say they are dual wand.
Could somebody just clean my carpets!

The fact is, most units with blowers smaller than a #56(600 cfms) don't do a very good job dual wanding compared to those that do. The reason for that is very simple. With a glide on those wands, the airflow to each needs to be around 200 cfms, and if you have a #45 blower putting out around 300 cfms or so, it is not enough. Now,if you have a #47 blower in your unit, you can get over 400 cfms from it like I do on my cleanco by speeding the blower up to 3000 rpms, but it is still not going to do the same job that a #56, 59, or #68 will do. But for part-time dual wanding it works okay.

A single wand is all you will need for most jobs. I once saw a crew dual wanding with a Vortex in an apartment complex. Pretty cool, but how often do you really need to do that?

It could always be worse. I mean you could be some carpet stain being emulsified by pre-spray all the while watching a wand spraying really hot solution aiming stright for you.
