I'd like to share with you guys my Father's Day gift. I got a call from my Dad last night during dinner. He told me there was an interesting message left on the answering machine for my mom (who has been dead since '98). The message was from Tyler Gourgon, Tyler is my son who I have't seen or heard from since 1984 when he couldn't even talk. He wants to meet his Dad. I had the honour and privilege of finally speaking to my son this morning. What an experience, this is just all way too cool. He lives in Edmonton, I teach there next month, but needless to say I can't wait that long to meet him. I have been blessed. |
