I could see that. It's not always necessary to enhance cleaning, but it does a lot for showmanship. It also helps the dry time.

On a truly grotesque job yeah it'll help, but chances are you could do it all over again the next day

these are the carpets that should probably be ripped out

but on the average job,go ahead and rub your pads,,,lucky if they're grey afterwords

waste of time most of the time

and the rednecks around here aren't willing to pay extra for extra steps so why bother

people round here seem to want you in and out a.s.a.p.
Andy... I couldn't agree more... you pay for what you get, if they want workmanship PAY FOR IT!....

It is not different than any other trade...I asked the plumer that was doing the plumbing in my new house if he was going to use plastic piping...

He said sure if you are willing to pay for it...

I would post pad for an extra charge makes the job look nice and even...

but you can make just as much or more if you give a pre-scrub.

Lot of you yahoo's aren't charging for either....doing pre-scrub and post padding with extraction all for 0.05 cents a sq ft.

anyways post pad is my answer for looks but I will be charging
