It absolutely depends on the fiber of which the specific carpet and backing is made. 

Similar to how your PSI should directly relate to the suction of your vac, there is no universal standard.

Thanks all. I should be in the ball park. My hot water was only going to 160. So I clean the jets and I am at %200 now.
