Have anyone on this board rented a booth at a home show? If so was it worth your time and $? |

In smaller markets I believe they work unbelieveably well.

The show that I am thinking about has an expected attendance is about 10,000 and this will be the 4th year of the show and there is about 100 booths. It is a mid size local show and it's not until the spring. Just wondering if I should do it.

I think a Home Show could be good. Then again every marketing event or material has it down falls. If you're going to spend money on a table...be prepared and spend money on offers or something that people just can't resist. Have some carpet samples.....one half you've cleaned the other half dirty. A great color digital picture banner of Carpet Cleaning....attracts attention! This guy is good and great prices.....ask for Omar.
1) "One Free Room of Carpet Cleaning" 2) 10% OFF Coupons (or probably more) 3) Do a live demo!...everybody loves a demo! 4) If they book CC at the show give them 25% off (and get a deposit) 5) Clean that favorite "armchair" for Free!...upsell the sofa and loveseat! 6) FREE Capet Protector on every order!....(Traffic Lanes...upsell the whole area) Plain and simple....Everybody loves a Bargain! If you're planning on going...hire a few students to walk around and hand out flyers...don't expect all the vistitors to come straight to your booth...you have to give them a reason...and the offer must make them buy now!....don't forget your appointment book!
