Got another crazy bitch (they come once every 6 months or so). I charged her a whopping $125 for about 1200 sq. ft of carpet. Big rip off right? So her first complaint was the last guy was sweating his ass off and I didn't break a sweat. She kept pointing to my machine (the Hydramaster RX20) and saying "he didn't use that last time". Finally, i got the wand out and showed her what the RX is doing.
So I leave... carpets looks GREAT! Traffic areas are gone about 90% which is what I promised when I walked in. I leave.. 5 minutes later she's calling "I'm not happy with this". WTF? I go back and she points out the indentions where the furniture was. She pointed out a black mascara spot and said "your machine put this in my carpet". UGH! Her daughter comes in and says "no mom, that spots been there for years". HAHAHAHA! She called me in the morning and said the carpets took 4 hours to dry. I told her this is typical but she insists now there is mildew. After explaining mildew doesn't grow that quick she accused me of cleaning with dirty water! YEA! I explained the water came out of her home and OMG.. on and on. in four hours.... is it possible for mildew odor to form? I don't think so. She kept telling me how I am way more expensive than the last guy. I asked how much she paid and she said "$100". OMG! Stanley would charge $300 for a job like this! The last guy "was a friend" too. And on and on and on... I told her I'd relay the message to the owner. hahaha. Her re-do was already done when we went back out to explain why indentions look darker and why her traffic areas have a hint of grey (as I explained before, during after, on the phone, again when I went back out and again on the phone today) |

If the last guy was her "friend" why did she call you
![]() People are always looking to get stuff for nothing. I had a guy call me about a month ago at 9pm to come down and clean the entrance way to his psychiatric office where a client brought ice melt all over the carpet. This was in the bad part of town and on short notice, he had stroke when I gave him the price and asked if we could do a "cash deal for $25". I laughed to myself and turned his offer down. |

I always pre walk the job and point out problem areas before i clean. As for the RX-20 , did you go back over the carpet with your wand? I find that the less lines or swirls left behind creats a cleaner looking carpet. If it has swirls everywhere this causes your eye's to wonder alot. As for 4 hour dry you would see no mildew growth, but if there was already an excisting problem then the clean would bring it out. |

When you do the walk around, do you drop little crumbs of Demon-Sperm on the carpet to find your way back
