Does anyone have feedback on the Zipper wand for carpet cleaning and water extraction.

I do Chris.

I just finished examining and testing it at Connections over a week ago.

My impressions are that it is not easy to pull if your TM has high lift(above 15"HG) like many of your Ring vacuum TMs over in OZ have. The dual teflon glides stick to the floor. It does extract well though as most drag tools do because the weight in the head of the tool means it gets a good seal on the carpet back. That said, I personally would not purchase this tool if given the choice between an RX20 for $3000 and the Zipper for the same money. The Rx20 will simply do most of the work for you and do it better IMO. The Zipper makes you do all the work. When doing jobs of 5000 sq ft or more that is not exceptable to me.

However I know in OZ that equipment costs much more than the USA so this machine might still cost you less delivered to OZ than an RX20 would. In that case I would not rule it out. Probably the same case for the UK cleaners as well. But for the USA cleaners it is my opinion that they are better off sticking with the powered rotary cleaners than the Zipper.
