HELP!
About 3-4 oz of Hoppe's #9 gun cleaning solvent was spilled in a carpeted closet. No visible "stain", but you can smell it. Soaked up as much as possible with clean rags. Sprayed with an bio-friendly odor neutralizer, then drenched in water, then soaked up again. Smell not as noticable, but still there.
Any ideas/product recommendations?
Thank you in advance

Contact a professional in your area. It is more than you can handle as a homeowner. You have neither the equipment, chemicals or trade skills to tackle this problem. Your problem is deeper than you might believe and involves several steps that unfortunately for you do require ingredients and tools you cannot buy or rent. Feel confident in knowing a professional can advise you of the steps HE or SHE will be taking. You should ask to see their IICRC certifications.

Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?
