Newbie in the Memphis TN area

Everyone agrees with you, yet 95% of the professional carpet cleaners that I know do not own a vacuum cleaner as part of their equipment in the vehicles that they use. There are possibly many theories for this but it's been said that it's your mother's fault. She always made you clean up and vacuum as punishment when you were bad, and you can't get that out of your mind.

Also, men are macho and being seen actually vacuuming a carpet is a sign of femininity or weakness. Now, at the other end of your super sucker truckmount is different? or is it?

Want to remove more soil and do a better job than your competitors? Then buy and use a vacuum cleaner.

Hi, I'm in Virginia. I use a Hydramaster truckmount. When I price carpet, if the carpet needs vacuuming, I tell the customer it has to be done. I tell them the price if they vacuum and another if they want me to vacuum. make sure you charge enough extra to make it worth your time.

Here's a tip: If they've got a cheap piece of crap vacuum that wont pick up much, just give them the price for your vacuuming and cleaning.
