I have an opportunity to quote upholstery cleaning for chairs at a bingo hall. Both the seat and the back will need to be done. Possibly hundreds of chairs. I have no idea how to price this job.I have read a similar thread here regarding movie theatre seats and all the recommendations were to quote by the hour and not the chair but I can only guess it would be between 5-10 minutes per chair…..quite a range and the customer wants the quote “per chair” Can any of you give me some guidance? I would charge $3.00 per and would take 1 - 2 minutes per chair.

if you quote per chair, make it a price subject to quantity. If you don't you could see them come back at you with 5 chairs/3 dollars each. Sliding scale, that in my world is best.
