Steamer Just ran into your Uncle - he says hello Don't you wish carpet cleaning or carpet cleaning chemicals for that matter had the mark up like Computer software or pharmaceuticals. When you spend 700.00 on Microsoft office in the past at least you got a manual that no one ever read. Now you even have to print that out if you want it. A friend of mine does international sales for a generic drug company. The package is the most expensive thing there. Granted, Microsoft and big pharma spends millions developing them but talk about margin. |

My basic point is..... carpet cleaning detergent and laundry detergent have very simular make ups. if tide made a carpet cleaning detergent, it would put you all out of business. it's just like the word"scotchgard" it means alot to the home consumer... everything has mark up....... it's up to the consumer to find what has more bang for their buck. Steamer are you married? do me a favour, when your wife is not home take all her soiled laundry and wash it in Formula-90 or Dry Slury. NO BS - try it and report back to us. |

Ok!! Found out supposed to use 12 scoops of formula 90 which is 1 1/2 pounds of that powder stuff and 2 scoop energizer per 5 gallon solution tank. Lastly each chemspec scoop that you find in your containers with most of your chemicals when you buy them is equivalent to 2 ounces. Just thought I'd share that very valuable expensive information. |

I find that I always use closer to half of the recommended dilution with emulsifiers
if you need a strong emulsifier chances are you need a better prespray
that's my opinion anyways |

Today I used 10 scoops of formula 90 2 scoops energiser. Results same. Cut it down by almost half. Shortly I''ll be testing the amount for liquid tide.
