I was just pulling up to my last job of the day, I went and knock on the door and a little boy answered the door and said to me come on in, so i walked in and asked what needed to be cleaned and he told me the living room. so i started to set up as normal, and i decided to have the little boy call his mom so i could talk to her, too make sure thats what she wanted, so he went in the other room and he came out and told me that the appt. was for tomorrow, so we packed up and started to pull away, and I started to think that there is no way i made a mistake on the time of the apt. I WENT TO THE WRONG HOUSE, it was just a weird deal that they were haveing they carpets cleaned also, so i looked at the address again and seen that we went to 105 E. instead of 105 W. so we went and did our job and as we were finishing up there was a lady standing by my van, it was the lady who's house we went to the first time, and she was mad... she ripped my ass up and down for a couple of minutes, and as she was walking a way she said she was pressing charges for unlawful entry!!!

Oh well crap happens. But I think your in the clear on this one. If the police DO take a report and they decide to press charges, then I think that you will be OK. The little boy let you in, and you were led to believe that you were at the right place at the right time. Hence, it was all pure accident and there was no criminal intent. Just to CYA, if it were me, tomorrow I would call the law enforcement agency who's jurisdiction her house is under, explain the situation and ask if there was a warrant sworn out against you. If there was a warrant taken out by some chance, which BTW I doubt, then contact an attorney ASAP. |

Should have offered her a free cleaning Dakota. Might have diffused it right there. With no intent though, I doubt that anything can be done under the criminal law. Civil is another matter.

No, I did not Chuck. I do have alot of books on the law that I have read though. But when it comes to matters that might cost me money, I always consult with the professionals in the field. I suggest everyone else do the same if in a simular position.

The child was left alone...with no supervision... what you should have done is called child services and reported the bitch.... Tell them the child opened the door... showed you the room... and at no time did you see an adult present.. you felt uncomfortable and left.. Yes it may have been the wrong house but you where let in by an unsupervised child... blow the smoke up the ladies butt ..and watch how she'll twitch maybe even call child service and report her anyways... |

Thats bogus... there is a months dirt on it now....I'm going back for two small spot in the LR.... I AM NOT HAPPY... I'm bringing in a spot bottle and nothing else |
