Has anyone ever move a piece of furn and when you moved it back it left a wood stain which most of the time will come out if you rinse quickly, but this one didn't, and I rinsed it serveral times, does anyone have any I deals on what I could have done, or how to prevent this (besides for not to move furn.) I used POG and Red dye stain rm, no luck.

Use sliders on furniture. Not only do they prevent this from happening, they make it much easier to move. Try isopropynol alcohol and repeated applications of your favourite 2 part stain remover.

Yep, start with Iso-Propyl alcohol. Failing that, Stain magic is what is designed for wood stains.

I use the lift buddy ( a lifting devise from JWC Inc. ) to lift the furniture off
the carpet, slip a slider under each leg, and move it out, spray behind the furniture, dwell etc. etc. then after cleaning I move it back and replace the slider with the styrofoam blocks. The legs never touch the carpet. It has saved me a few Oh s*#T moments! The lift buddy and a good set of sliders works great. |

WE have tested Cyclone on several different furniture stains with good resuilts, however, it still takes agitation, it doens''t just turn clear and dissappear..

Danmarck, Your suggestions are extremely professional. It's what every cleaner needs or should have. Now listen to this. We gave up selling Lift Buddy's and Teflon sliders (not to be confused with gliders) because we dusted them more than selling them. Now products that remove wood stains we could sell for hundreds of dollars after the fact when the cleaner has a gun to his head. Now one of the reasons that these products don't have a high rate of satisfaction is because the inexperienced cleaner has already thrown the kitchen sink at it and generally set it. If it happens to you seek professional advice before attempting your own concoctions. If you caused it, you own it. |

I tried laziness like everyone else from time to time and would slide a
couch ( without plastic slidders)onto an already presprayed area. As I moved the couch back by sliding it on the carpet the red wood stain would streak all th way back to the couch which was now back in place against the wall. Now what? well luckily I caught it early and lucked out on having something ( I don't know what at this point ) that took it out. From that point on I am more cautious and less Lazy!!! Take time to do it right.....You don't have time to do it twice!!! |
