In reality we should have a blend of all types of air movers because every job is truly different.

I have a mixture of different fans.I have 4 Gale force,2 Air Boss fans that are bigger than the traditional carpet dryers,10 huricane fans, and 10 Stanley fans.I am looking at buying some Ace fans also as every water damage job is different.

Hi there!

New and looking around.... I just want to comment on the Low Amp airmovers... I like using them for the simple fact that you can use 5 on one circuit and not trip it.....I only have 19 airmovers in my fleet but it is growing and I think that I will grow with the low amperage ones but I will also include some regular Sarahas or somthing like that.

Hi, just reading a few of your posts , I do not do water damage or
restoration work but have been cleaning carpet and upholstery for 23
years. I have a combination but drieaz saharas and Sahara pros do work
well for me. I also have opened my eyes to trying the small " Air Kings "
from Hydroforce. This is a small adjustable snout fan that cools the
worker in the summer and can be set to get the right angle to dry steps. I
noticed Menards has a Stanley brand for 34.95 for 1/10th the price of
the Sahara Pro it does have its place. And on jobs where a 1 HP motor is
overkill the small ons like the stanley are nice to have to dry a bedroom
or small area.

I was saying if I did'nt have a choice of mixing and I could only have one type I would buy the turbo with 2-3 speeds.  With 2-3 speeds you have the choice of controling your amps.  So I think Brian was right.  It probably is the best all round air mover.

In fact We Dry.  If I had a choice of only being able to use one kind of airmover and I was able to buy 500 of them it would be the turbo dryer with 2-3 speeds.

I agree...The only issue I see with the Gale Force is that you need the stand and thats an extra $100...USD.... And them im not sure if its still CSA/UL approved... Do you know? Ive always wondered...... And for most water losses the regular air movers works great...I agree

TGIF......I think that the Gale Force is a better air mover than the Ace....The ace has lower CFM and does not push as much air as the Gale Force...Do you have any of either of them?

Brian, In my own opinion the best all around airmover is the gales force.

Hi Doug i agree with the name recognition. I think some of the MFG
marketing is just that marketing. You and i know it does not make a
difference of the brand name as long as they work and you get a good
deal. Yes many work better than some other brands. Most jobs that are
flooded less than 6" are best dryed with the cheaper traditional air
movers. Just my opinion. MR. Lozecki this is probally not your thoughts
but try a tradition against your axial fan in this condition and i will win!

Doug would you agree. You may need other types of air movers for jobs
above 6" How about you mr Lozecki.

Mr. Lozecki., ASD,WRT CDT Iternational Inc., Cat Director Of Network Development:  Please forgive me for intruding.  How silly of me not to notice this was a private conversation between you and Brian.  I would guess with all these letters behind your name a common person like myself would have to pay to get your opinion.Guitar
