Just a quick hello. I am a guy with a carpet extractor that I bought over ten years ago for personal use. I do my own carpets as well as family and occasionally friends. I'm always willing to learn how to do it better. That's where this forum will come in handy.

I use a Powr-flite that I bought hardly used probably 12-13 years ago. It's been a good unit and I recently had to put in a new pump. Very easy job, no different than an RV really as I'm sure you guys know. I probably left it out in the garage improperly stored and the water left in the head froze and tore the diaphragm or something. It's the only work I've had to do to it. It's a box extractor and the reason I am here is that it's fixed and I'd like to really learn the art of doing it correctly as I have a few stains on my carpet that concern me.
I'm finding it amazing reading about how to work different problems you all come across when it comes to stains. I also have to learn more about treatment/chemical options.

You are already on a website that will teach you more about cleaning technologies and chemicals that you will most likely require. Go for it. It's a smorgasbord for carpet cleaners.

Good Luck! Thumbs Up
