I also do not do residential unless it is one of my commercial customers home. I am mainly into commercial  yearly maintenance, meaning 7 days/week nightly cleaning of large spaces ( office buildings, department stores, shopping malls, golf courses, etc etc ) I do not pride myself as a carpet cleaner or specialist in maintenance, I am not in the cleaning business . I am in the business of making money, cleaning is only the door opener. The reason I do commercial work is because I do a quick, sloppy, unprofessional job and they pay me big bucks at the end of the month. The reason for this is simple, large companies & coprorations do not have the time to check quality of maintenence work done because it is done 7 days/week and they do not expect 100% outcome only because what I miss on a Monday gets done on a Tuesday or Wednesday. I get away with garbage work because I have  superior marketing  and public relations skills & a pricing structure that competitors can't touch.

If your experience is below par, stay away from residential and concentrate on commercial.

Nova.....I just checked your profile, you have NO NAME, NO LOCATION, and NO of ANYTHING ELSE. Yet, you come here on this site asking all kinds of questions and expect all of us here to teach you a carpet cleaning course over the net. You want to make money in carpet cleaning or any other service.....Get off your ass, leave the computer alone, don't depend on others for advice, make your own costly mistakes, pound the pavement everyday meeting people, get on the phone and make at least 80 calls per day, think for yourself & use your own brain that God gave you. Stop trying to pick other peoples brain to gather experience.....EXPERIENCE cost money, we all paid our dues, some of us paid big bucks to learn ( what I mean by learn, is not what to do.....it's what not to do ) If you want to be successful in any business, it is more important to know what not to do , that lesson will save you thousands of dollars and if you want to have the knowledge..........open your wallet and make an offer to your favorite person on this site, including Ted Harding the owner of KleenKuip.....PAY UP or SHUT UP.
