CROSS-AMERICAN RECOIL+LITTLE GIANT HEATER = WINNING COMBO

Hello everyone, I am new to this board but not new to the business.  I also enter a couple of other carpet cleaning forums and try to help out others who ask questions but most of the time, I am helped more than I contribute.

I have been reading the debate of different carpet cleaning portables available and their advantages and disadvantages and decided I wanted to share my experience as an end user with the Cross-American Recoil 3 XPS.

I hope to keep this short but since this is my first post it may get “long in the tooth”.  I have used/owned the Ninja, Harloff, US Products and Kleenrite portables with varying psi, heat/no heat/, and vacuum configuration.   About 12 (maybe 15 really can’t remember and I don’t want to go look at my receipts) years ago I looked into Cross-American and talked to Ed Valentine for about 1 year before deciding to purchase a Recoil extractor.

This summer I decided to “upgrade” my equipment and purchase a larger trailer (6 x 12), add Cross-American auxillary tanks and combine it with the Little Giant Heater sold and serviced by Jan Sullins of American Kleen Pro.

For those of you who have not been watching the progress on my new trailer and set up you can see all of it here on this link:  http://s646.photobucket.com/home/ARubalcaba

This week I have used the Recoil XPS/auxiliary tanks and the Little Giant on 4 different jobs all residential.

In short, I have gotten great cleaning results and excellent dry times.

As an example; I cleaned the living room, family room, master bedroom and den of one home.

The LR was 12’ x 14’; FR was 14’ x 16’; MBR was 16’ x 20’; and den was 9’ x 10’.

After prepping the carpet (vacuuming carpet, vacuuming edges, spotting, etc), I began setting up.  Set up for extraction was a breeze.  Let me repeat setup was an absolute breeze.

I put out 150’ of solution hose and vacuum hose.  I extracted the LR, FR, MBR and den in that order.  I returned to bonnet clean (using John Geurkink’s OP machine-Commercial Breeze) the rooms in the same order.  When I was about ready to begin bonneting the MBR, I checked the LR and it was dry.  When I finished the den, the FR was dry.

This system has saved me time, less physical exertion, and in the long run money as I have less down time (such as emptying Recoil; refilling Recoil, moving hoses and solution lines, etc.).  The hot water produced by the Little Giant is fantastic as I actually burned my middle arm when I touched the quick disconnects.  It is really cool to see the actual vapor and steam coming out of my wand and not to mention hearing the popping sound.

This is definitely an unbeatable combination.  If you already have the Recoil and are considering the LG Heater, don’t wait any longer as it does what it advertises.

If you are considering purchasing a Recoil 3 XPS you are making a wise choice over the other portables that are out there.  I don’t see any other portable that can be put on a truck and run as much hose and line as I did.

I had only one question for Jan Sullins (LG Heater) and he called me immediately when he noticed he had a voicemail from me.  In reality, I did not need much help and the setup is quite simple.

Ed’s support has always been great and very professional, and will always provide a solution to any problem that may arise.

I recommend WITHOUT RESERVATIONS the Recoil 3 XPS and the Little Giant Heater combination. (let’s not forget the CCS Commercial Breeze as I extract then bonnet most of my carpets)

If you have any questions ask them here or you can email me at brushesbonnets@cox.net.

Good God, it never ends with this guy.

I know I should not assume this is Ed Valentine using an alias and making up a story but after finding out that he has done this many times, how can I believe otherwise? The timing is especially suspicious.

Alex,
Send me your email address and I will send you my phone number that you can call me.  I live in the Phoenix, Arizona (USA) area.  I would be more than happy to talk to you.  My email is in my post and in my signature.
Also, why don't you take the time and follow the link to my pictures.  You know what they say "a picture is worth a thousand words".
Will wait to hear from you.

Regards,
Abraham

Hi Abraham,
I saw the pics but they consisted of a trailer with a few water tanks and some propane bottles. I did not see any carpet cleaning equipment. You may very well be telling the truth but it is hard to determine because Mr V has lost all credibility by posting phony testimonials. You don't have anything to prove to me. Ed Valentine needs to do some damage control and clean up his reputation.

I am the one who sold him the propane heater!
Last Sunday Abraham called me last left a message on my cell phone.
I returned the call. He said he was ready to clean a job as he had worked
on getting his trailer ready to go clean carpet . He was appreciative!
You know he is one of those good guys that is smart . Not like you.

I don't know Abraham from Adam, nor do I know if he really exists and is not merely another Ed Valentine alias. That's the problem with being deceitful, Janet. Once you are caught being dishonest, nobody knows when to believe you or not. Maybe you and your Coiler Cult might learn something from this lesson or are you an Ed Valentine android also?

Coiler? I don't even own one. I've said so several times. But I guess anyone who disagrees with you is a liar and imposter, right? What's so difficult about disagreeing without vitriol?

So you say but once you crossed that Coiler line, nobody knew what to believe out of you. The fact is, you have been bellowing just like an authentic Coiler, throwing feeble jabs from the grandstand just like a Coiler and yet whimpering from head-on confrontation and truth, just like a Coiler. Are you sure you don't have a Recoil XPS 3rd generation in a closet somewhere? Would you agree to cooperate with a full household investigation from KleenKuip forum detectives, trained to uproot hidden Recoil portables from the homes of stealth underground Recoil cult members?

Head-on confrontation? In text? What does that even mean? I see you stopped playing with text size and emoticons once I pointed out how lame it was. You could go back to that old song and dance, you big bad confrontational man you! That would show me. That would show . . . everyone.

In my better moments, I remain a gentleman. It never goes out of style. Try it out sometime.

I am done! You can not reason with Alexarz because he acts like a two yearold!

There is no point in anymore discussing anything, because it is  a waste of time!
Good bye

It damn near brings a tear to my eye to see you Coiler Cult members come out of the woodwork on behalf of one another like this. Truly, this display of brotherhood is touching and just in time as a prelude to the holiday season.

Long live the Coil Cult, even if not one of its members can score a 3 digit IQ score with a full belly and a heat lamp on his head.
