Hey All, I was just wondering if any of you could recommend a good inexpensive place to get work comp insurance. Everywhere I have looked is just crazy expensive but I have heard rumors of some less expensive places. I am located in Missouri and trying to find something soon.
Thanks guys
Chad

Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?

It might be worth your time to inquire into how to make your employees into sub-contractors.
I'm in California (about the toughest State for red tape) and do just fine. It's an 8 page agreement that leases the equipment to the sub for a percentage of the total. The state looked at me once and has never come back. Good thing I had my papers in order. |
