I use Jena-Dyco products, but if you don't have the training to use any type of dye product (i.e. how to mix colours, prepare carpet, identify types of carpet), then it's not something you should attempt unless you're quite happy to pay for a new piece of replacement carpet!!Dead

Spot dyeing can be tricky. Bridgepoint sells a spot dye kit which comes with a manual.
 
I would bleach a bunch of samples and practice with them.
