Forgive my ignorance, I do not ski , and have never been to a ski lodge in the winter, not even as a guest. My point is this..............why would a ski resort stay open during the summer or is that just to do the cleaning.

Some ski resorts operate year round. Some offer water parks, mountain biking, paintball, zip lines, mini golf etc during the summer to generate extra revenue. Even if a ski resort only offers skiing or snowboarding the resort is pretty active behind the scenes in the summer. This is when management works on cleaning things, getting stuff ready for next season, working on upgrades/improvements etc. |
