just wandering how many of you lightly spray the carpet with your wand before prespraying and if you do what is the benifit to it. also do you just prespray the traffic areas or all of the carpet.

sounds like added water that is not going to assist in soil removal!

Seems like a waste of time to do that.
Just prespray, and I prespray everywhere I am cleaning.

Just use hot water in your pre-spray.  It does more than what you think you are doing in the way of enhancing the effectiveness of the pre-spray since solvents work best hot generally. 

No excess water.  Just water containing the chemical itself.

That is my take on the subject, not that it means anything.
Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?
