I think that will depend on how aggressive your marketing is, the quality of work you do, your customer skills, etc. Sorry there is no simple answerBig%20smile

It depends on how fast the housing market crashs in your city. Right now it is going down pretty fast. I suggest you dont try to start a carpet cleaning business there because as the ecomony shinks, the record amount of cleaners you got there are only going to price cut and make things worse as time goes on.

Actually, don't listen to Kenny. Flooring is selling like hotcakes right now because people need to upgrade their homes to sell them. I expect carpet cleaning to profit from the need to improve appearance without investing loads of cash.

However, that alone is not a reason to go into the business.

It really should not be about volume. I have groomed my business over the past 26 years to be a
more high end business. But for the first 15 or more I was playing to the fear of " What if they don't call me back and someone else gets the job, How am I going to pay the bills " MODE . I'm glad I gradually decided enough is enough and my prices and my approach to business had to change.
Honest , I had four jobs last week the total for the week was $2700.00 . When I first started an 800.00 week was doing very well.

Only you can be the judge of your business . continued success

Well good luck with that. The basis of any business needs to be founded on a strong foundation, and right now Phoenix is not it.The 500 carpet cleaning companies already there mean you are going to find it alot tougher to grow your business than you think because the troubles in your area are only begining. It is alot easier to see this from outside than inside the situation. Sometimes when you are up to your ass in aligators, it is hard to remember you went in to drain the swamp.

the sun is actually getting bigger, but it will take something like 5 millions years before it roasts us all alive. We will be long gone by then.  Carpet cleaning atomic war or something.
