Old data from even 4 days ago. In the last 4 days a number of cities have had their prices move up to near $3.50/gallon. In the next 3 to 4 weeks, you are going to see many top $4.00/gallon, and not just the cities in California either.Gas is not waiting for May to do it's annual spring runnup; it is starting NOW.

John:

Not if it is rationed, which it might be by this Summer.

Or if it goes over $5/gallon this summer, they may not want to pay for it anymore. Glad you got your portable back!

That's not true Al. What I get is $3000 every time oil moves up in price a dollar. Today I purchased 3 July $100 Put options as well for $6100 each. Now I will make $3000 for every dollar oil falls in price as well. You see I believe that oil is going to fall back to $90 before it resumes it's climb again in April. Might as well make an extra $30,000 on that dip. If you were benefiting on the movement of oil like I do, you would be happy following the price of it too!

I'm glad too but whats that matter? You still have to fuel up your Van to get there.. And the little extra gas my TM uses on the job and the massive extra power makes cleaning so much more enjoyable than using a portable........I will use the TM/porty together on big jobs.. the helper can use the porty..LOL

I just read this >> Point%20and%20Laugh At a Shell service station in the Bay Area city of San Mateo, the price of a gallon of regular had already reached $4.29, well above the state average of $3.42, as measured by the AAA auto club.

There you have it. I remember a couple years ago it was $5 a gallon at a few stations in Chicago when Katrina hit.
