Hello all.
I rented a rug doctor to clean my RV last week. It did a great job. That is until I returned the machine, Came back to the rv when it was dry to find it looking 100% worse. Well after doing a little research online I am guessing it is wicking. That being said, I realized my neighbor had a Bissel steam cleaner. He let me borrow it for the week. I cleaned this carpet at least 15 times with this thing over the last week and every time the same results. Looks great right after I clean it, And brown spots in the high traffic areas when it dries. Even after cleaning the carpet so many times, It still seems to be pulling up a ton of dirt. Either that or it pulling the backing through the carpet. I have no clue, Any advice would be great. And I know some of you are going to say call a pro, But its too small of an area to waste there time, Not to mention I will be pulling the carpet out at the end of winter to put in hardwood. Thanks JEFF |
