I always wondered about that. Some of those things send out a lot of probes with not much of a way to aim them.

Hey I almost stabbed a guy in his eye the other day. Hey, Maybe the cop had had a few drinks himself
 . That guy was lucky it was a taser that was shot in his eye and not a bullet.
