Please be advised that some of my posts may seem "OUT THERE" but they are the truth in the year 2007. I dont even sugar coat my posts which makes reality a whole lot more interesting. I hope that this forum doesnt ban me for honesty in any way in the future. I will not lie to you no matter how stupid it sounds.
Carpet honesty # 3246- I love my mom and dad with the shag carpet in the 60s, but I never once remember them ever carpet cleaning which today sounds kinda nasty. That orange and green shagg carpet is still in that home and I dont get why......They wont even let me carpet clean for them for free. The dry rot may tear the carpet to pieces if carpet cleaned, and yet I still love the old farts.

back in the day...people won't get the carpet clean, because one you've cleaned it...it would be wrecked and get dirty real fast...

Carpet does seem to get dirty fast once it gets cleaned.
The whole reason for the CRI seal of approval program is because when a random test of 25 carpet cleaning products was done---get this---21 of the products did not clean as well as water according to 6 criteria. Add to the fact that cleaners never seem to own a measuring cup and use the glug method for measuring, the detergents we use do resoil fast. |

CRI- It means something for many people but means nothing to me other than another corporate structure in its early stages that does more harm than good in several cases. The initial intent is fantastic. To develop a general plan for good carpet cleaners to follow sounds great in all its honesty. But then its gets warped in a money gathering frenzy. The rules are twisted to gather more money for the corporation or "organization" as it is called in the early days. Thus ".org" was announced. In the end it turns into a money making empire with lies and little regard for anyone but the "machine". But by then its to late. They have too much money and power, and awe their customer with multi million dollar tv adds filled with promises. Thus you have Stanley Steamwhore, Rainslut and so on.
