Can someone please tell me a good machine I can use for residential carpet. A good pre-scrub or power scrub machine for heavy stain carpet. I heard the rotovac 360 was good but I don't know. No joking please

Do you really want to buy a machine that you only use on heavily stained carpet when you already have a machine that you use?

I use 2 different machines for scrubbing in prespray, 13" Oreck orbiter with either carpet brush or fiber plus pad from excellent-supply.com, I also use Rotovac dual head classic machine, both work very well.

The Rotovac 360 looks like the malnourished step-sister of the RX-20. http://hydramaster.com/accessories/rx20.asp |

For a deep restorative cleaning and the right price I break out a 15" Hild for pre-scrubbing and a rotovac for extraction.
Otherwise, a grooming rake to agitate the pre-spray followed by a standard wand to do a regular top surface cleaning. Even Cliff Monson recommends using a rotovac for deep restorative cleaning and for impressing a circle of influence customer only. It is a "awh" getter, impressing the heck out of somebody watching you user it. Monson invented the RX-20, a nice 1st try at power extraction wands. And there is nothing wrong with it. Both do a great job although I would love to see a side-by-side video demo of the RX-20 and both rotovac units someday. |

I know what you mean there are fancier looking machines but I have "awed" many customers including myself with the dual head Rotovac
