A client claims he was sand blasting his fireplace and the black dust got all over the carpet. I knew the story was a bit far fetched but I still wanted to help him out. Now the carpet in certain areas were very bad like he accidently dumped a bag of ashes. He said he swepted it up and it left the carpet black. I used a pre spray and some citrisolve, agitated and extracted. The stain became lighter but was noticeably still there. I tried black out for filtration marks and still no good. Anybody have this problem before? Would appreciate mature answers please. Thanks.

Thanks for being mature. Now from my understanding, the client said they gave it a thorough sweep with a shop-vac and a sweeper. I guess I should have given it a once over but I didn't. Now how to correct the problem is were I'm getting at. Any suggestions on a chem, proceedure or is it time to buy new carpet? Thanks again.
