I have a rather dirty CGD restaurant to "try". I own a Vento and Releaseit products which have served me well. These carpets have never been professionally cleaned...they have been cleaned....but by the owner, he owns a portable hwe.
I have been told the only way to clean these is HWE and THEN OP. If I can get these carpets cleaned, i will OWN my market. I am at the mercy of anyone who can suggest to me the appropriate method(s). Hopefully, it will be a OP only solution (no pun intended). I tried about 100 feet, they look as though they wicked...again. it is possible I used too much solution....it is also possible I am in over my head as a result of my enthusiasm. Entusiam that no one can take away so save yourself the time. I like my current set-up. However, I also own a portable and heater. Thoughts> |

Releasit is "Ok"....If you really want some good products for Op'in. try www.vacaway.com They have some of the best products for Op barnone.
I highly recommend the 'Hot-Knife" and Whamm. Good stuff. I tried it and I really like it alot. As for your situation...I would just prescrub with a rotary first then use HWE for it. BUt, if that doesnt do it and you fear a wicking problem...Then I would use the Whamm and add 1oz per gal of hot knife as a booster and pad it afterward. |
