Hi everyone.. could you give some advice on what chemicals you need and ones to avoid? I am just starting out and chemical supplier I am dealing with is trying to sell me every under the sun and I am wondering if this is just bogus. An example is a stain remover kit for 280.00 and other chemicals totaling another 300.00. The brand of chemical is esteem.
Also what are your views on the training courses that run 300.00 a pop.
Thanks

IMO stay away from esteam, as far as I am concerned if you try one of the big 3 (Prochem,Chemspec or Bridgepoint) you wont go wrong.

I used to deal with Robert Gordon before they changed to Swish Gordon for Chemspec products!

Like Cmaster said check out Kleen Kuip and talk to Ted!

He can ship it via Greyhound for a very reasonable price! and he will not steer you wrong!

P.S take the training course if you are a newbie!

Bro, you got led down the wrong path.
Now you'll spend the next 6 months playing catch-up!

I when though the same thing when I started.  So just tied them all.  Bridgepoint seemed to work the best for me.  I for some reason get the really nasty carpets to, and has worked well.

Is that a FACT. Wheelerman? What pre-spray do you use? The powder or liquid?

I'd appreciate any recommendations for pre-spray for carpets covered with general dirt, walked in mostly from parking lots, like you'd typically see in retail stores. The carpet I have to deal with is really filthy.
