Another cleaner sent me a porty job because he didn't have one. I drive across town and roll everything in high rise apartment and she asks how much for 1 BR appartment. I said $125 she said oh my god! $120!! I said yes and that was very fair and I was recogmended because of my quality work.
"The guy who normally does it charges $60...." Why didn't you call him. "His number is disconnected....I can go rent a machine and do it." Yes you can but by the time you get it and buy the solution it might not be worth it. "Yes and the carpets stay wet for a couple of days" Well I am sorry for the misunderstanding and I will be on my way now. No problem. "Gee that sounds like a lot. Can you do it for less?" Sorry, that's why you can't get hold of your last cleaner. They went out of business for not charging enough. I think she didn't ask for a quote on the phone because she was expecting me to cave to her price rather than leave without any money. -WRONG! Edited by pilediver - 17/March/2007 at 7:26pm |

She was recogmended by a carpet cleaner friend. She goes to church with him. Didn't want to make any waves. The guy is Ron who owns that Inspriration 59 truck.
