Absolutely HORRIBLE idea! Why in the world would you put this on the flyer:

"We will beat any written quote by 15%"

Why, oh why, would you do that.

Some of you need to learn a thing or two about marketing. Really. You are going to kill yourselves. Do you think that low of yourself and your service.

LOL! Guys that have to get work by advertising low price are a JOKE.

If you are one of those....good luck.

You would be much better off doing the same but saying "Add 15% to the highest price you have been quoted in writing....and that is what we will clean your carpets for. Give us a call and find out why quality minded people choose us."

Only dumbA$$es offer incentives such as you mentioned.

I own a successful cleaning company and run a Genesis 59.

What else you want to know. I don't give out penis size because I don't want guys to be jealous of me.

So don't ask for that one.

You must LOVE doing a lot of jobs and wearing your employees, yourself, and your equipment out.

I prefer to do LESS work, make more money. But do it as you like. LOL.

Dude, you might just be the dumbest person I have ever seen on a BB. YOu really think the average client can do as good of a job as you can? Well, in your case that is probably true. My dog could probably outclean you by PISSING on the carpet.

I don't have a client that could come close to delivering the quality we deliver.

But think as you wish. You are the type that I completely kick ass on in my area.

P.S.- Now I realize that there are people like Mikey P. and Greenie who try to make this carpet cleaning thing seem like rocket science....it is not even close...but there is a bit more to cleaning than you get.

Jack, Todd always livens up the posting wherever goes. He used to get people pissed off at him on the ICS board and John Guerkinks board as well, just like I did, so he can't be all bad, eh? Being a former marine, gives him the kind of atitude that will piss a few off by the way he talks, but I think he is an OK guy once you get to know him abit.

Todd, Jack really is a smart guy that knows lots more than most of the guys you will talk to on the boards. You really should give him a little more respect. I consider him one of the smarter people I know, and I know thousands on the boards.I know you guys would probably like each other if you quit the Macho stuff.Jack certainly could teach you alot, as he has helped me.

I could give a rats ass what he is like Ken. When a guy gets on here and thinks a good marketing idea is to tell EVERYONE he will beat ANYONES written quote by 15% you KNOW he is not that bright.

He is a HACK. The typical lowballer that most of us HATE. And you KNOW it.

He gets NO respect from me...and I am sure he could care less. Just like I could care less from this point what his HACK ass does.
