At the plant that I work at it is our policy for any outside contractor to provide us with a MSDS. If they cannot produce no work. They also must follow the MSDS ie: PPE, proper ventilation, safe environment etc. They are also escorted the entire time to ensure compliance. Big smile

I could not agree more with you Nightrider. Most people will not know that the bylaw even exists. My question to the city is how do you plan on enforcing the bylaw? Confused

next time the cashier at the local walmart is wear that strong perfume...i'm asking for a msds....

Hey maybe stores that carry any kind of chemical or cleaning agent should have msds sheet for everyone...A&P ..Metro.....Fortino's...Canadian Tire...Home Depot...Rona...Price Choppers

hell the next time I drive behind someone where smelly exahust comesout their tail pipe...I want to see the msds from the Gas Station...or the engine oil company...

you know what this is.....BULL$HIT!!!!!!!!!!!

different rules for some......

In all my years of cleaning no one has ever asked to see the msds sheet unless it was some pissed of use to be cleaner...and even then..

It reminds me how the officers of health in Toronto will kill all these little food shacks  with regulations...but can't get Molson to clean up the rat dropping behind the big beer vat...

rant rant rant
