What tweeks have you done to improve your garden variety standard wand. Have you extended your jets because you raised the height of your wand with jets? Have you found it worthwhile to upgrade your wand valve? Have you ever installed no drip stuff at the jets?
Other than a glide, I have not done anything to my wand and it seems to work just fine but maybe I don't know the difference because I have been afraid to turn what has been a very low mainteance tool and turn it into a headache. Whadayathink? Edited by pilediver - 24/November/2006 at 9:42pm |

200 hours or so before the acid rince opens the jet size 50% larger than what you started with. This is not all bad however. A 04 opening turned into a 06 will work better for you. To answer your question, the SS jets are the best and cheapest to run over the long term. Going to an improved valve does not make as much sense unless you run over 400 psi, because for lower pressures the standard valves are not tiring. |

Installed a drip valve on a wand to avoid heat spikes.
