No one seems to have all the answers or chem products to address this issue. But mechanical action does seriously help with whatever your choice of products used.

Suprisingly, we sell a simple spotter called Perky Spotter that has been sold for years as a "miracle in a bottle". You may be amazed with this very non-toxic product on filtration lines. It blows me away to see how this no-smell, no-solvent product breaks down shoe polish and liptstick.

Steamer

I am using TT from Kleenkuip, did work in a provincial court judges house today, very bad filtration lines, they did not care what it cost, they just wanted them gone, took several hours for 2 techs. but it came out very well. they were very pleased.Smile

If they're willing to pay, doug's solution works mighty nicely.

I have some of Bridgepoint's filtration remover, and I haven't had good results with it either. When I was with Chem-Dry, they had a filtration remover that worked amazingly well--the owner had one unit, which tells me he had to buy it because of one of HR's rules, because he never would have bought anything extra unless they were twisting his arm--but it cost him about 40.00 for a quart (one A-bottle, one b-Bottle). I should've snagged that before I left.

I've used haitian cotton, it doesn't always work 100% but it does a pretty good job.

nothing is impossable. it just hasn't been done yet.
