It's funny ...my brothers taking the Sears IICRC course...they are doing a more hands on approach...He bet them yesterday that he could clean a white sofa prespraying with his hydro force...without it going brown. He took the bet...lol HE WON...lol the couch already had browning on it...it's all gone...they said it was the best they have ever seen the couch cleaned...but they would advise it for everyone......bahahahahahahaha they never knew you could put Haitian in the hydro force.....lolololol bahaaahahahaha Listening to all you people here......I sent him to take the class...now he's teaching it...lololololol unconventional but works Mr. Steamer Carpet Cleaner |

So you are basically saying that everyone at Sears is clueless and that you know more than Ralph, is that right? Wondering why you wouldn't use a neutral prespray that breaks and digests the oils a bit better? |

Andy is right on the money. We use low moisture methods as often as possible with cotton. Haitian cotton is very rare in this day and age, why do you think its raw cotton. The other fact you have conveniently missed here Stanley is that it is Sears and they have big time issues to deal with that most of us don't have to worry about. They don't want their cleaners touching furniture EXCEPT for those that are very simple to clean and worry free. Companies like Sears and The Bay have to deal with clients who are looking to get free new furniture based on a mistake from a cleaner. Sears outlets are not independent franchises, they are licsensees. If someone cries hard enough to Sears, they will replace a couch that is slightly messed up. A raw cotton couch can easily brownout from cleaning from things beyond the cleaner's control, like the customer using too much spotter from a bottle and it browns out when in contact with water. Happens alot with with rayon blends too. Sears' policy is that an average customer can spend up to 70K at their stores in their lifetimes, so they are guaranteed satisfaction NO MATTER WHAT. Now if that was your company policy, would you be teaching your employees how to clean tricky furniture? |

Why do you think they went belly up.....lol Any they are on their way there again....... I'll hydro force a good natural cotton...why??? because the Haitian gets to soak into the the foam or padding...and the fabric gets evenly wet...you get a better clean...way better that just mist and Vac |
