Has Kleen Kuip put an emphasis on "Green"?

Kleen Kuip has been in the "green" business for 30 years. We have always tried to make and sell products that are "friendlier" than the traditional, caustic type products. We are not new to the "green" movement. If anything were "Green, when Green wasn't cool!"
Why would anyone want a green product when a traditional one works just fine?

Here are a few reasons:
  • Improves indoor air quality
  • Greatly minimizes exposure to harmful, caustic chemicals
  • Reduces Water & Air Pollution
  • Reduces sick days lost to illness which in turn reduces health care expenses
  • Increases worker productivity since worker no longer has to wear protective gear
  • Ensures healthier working environment for both tenant and janitorial staff
  • Concentrated products ensure less landfill waste by reducing bottles, caps, boxes, labels, etc,...
  • Concentrated products ensures less waste in respect to recycling which means less burden on our natural resources

Green products were once more expensive to purchase, today they are less expensive to purchase.

Green is here to stay! Be sure to get on the bandwagon or you may be left behind!

Nightrider

You must admit that the Big Dodge TM gave you a lot of GREEN in the form of CASH.

Now did you wash that money, as money handed between hands, is probably the most unhealthy in the world.

The only four letter word I have ever heard from Nightrider is C.A.S.H.

POINT WELL TAKEN...............BUT................THERE WERE MULTIPLE TESTS DONE ON MONEY BEING TRANSFERED FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER AND THE POSSIBILITY WAS LESS THAN .05% OF ANY CHANCE TO CATCH ANY FOREIGN BACTERIA THROUGH THE EXCHANGE

YOUR RESPONSE STILL DOES NOT ANSWER MY ORIGINAL POST NEITHER DOES IT ACCOUNT FOR THE POLLUTANTS EXTRACTED BY ANY " GREEN PRODUCTS " END RESULT IS THAT THE ECO-FRIENDLY PRODUCT JUST SUMMITS TO THE MORE POWERFUL CONTAMINANTS WE ARE TRYING TO CLEAN

nightrider,

I hate it when you get the last word. There are always three sides to every story. Yours, mine and possibly the right side. I have never thought of it that way. What you are saying is they better the cleaning results the more soil removed from the carpet the more pollutants you will be dumping into your neighborhoods environment.

We actually spoke with the staff at the ultimate sewer dump site at the end of the pipe before it goes into the lake. They seemed not too concerned about contaminates that come out of carpets. They have a treatment for that. Their major concern was the carpet fiber and lint as it "plugs-up" their system.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY TED/GLORIA/MIKE OR WHOEVER TAKES CARE OF WRITTING THESE REPLIES.............SO AS I CAN ASSUME.............KLEENKUIP WILL BE SELLING & PUSHING CARPET FIBRE & LINT TRAPS FOR ALL PORTABLES AND TRUCKMOUNTS........MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOBBY THE GOVERNMENT TO EXCERISE A MUNICIPALE LAW TO AVOID THE BLOCKING OF CITY PIPES OF LINT.

CAN YOU THINK OF THE GOLD MINE YOU WOULD HAVE.......A FILTER ON EVERY WASHING MACHINE IN EVERY HOUSEHOLD.

ALL THIS TO SAY.IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE........LINT/CARPET FIBRE SINKS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE WATER SO THE CHANCES OF BLOCKING ANYTHING IS SLIM TO NONE

If you dump water & lint from a TM in British Columbia the first fine is $5,000.00 and the second offence is jail time. And yes we do sell Truckmount Filters but not in the provinces that do not police.

In BC they sell like hotcakes!

If you spend the money your tm should already have a lint basket. and if you use the pump out even more is kept in the waste tank.
Just My opinion

We use an inline vac filter (the pool-type) on our dump hose and "post-filter" our waste water. The water goes into the sewer and the lint/fiber goes into the trashcan.

PS- We think "green" is great!  ;-)

Take care,
Lisa

I was just pondering what Lisa said in her post that the lint goes into a trash can......then picked up and shipped to a landfill.......all garbage bags are perforated and contents crushed to the smallest form.......but as you all know lint is extremely light and when dry it gets lifted into the air by wind then settles on streets and sidewalks and eventually down a city sewer...............NOW WHATLOL back into the water it goes...DOES THE PROVENCE OF B.C FINE THEMSELVES FOR THEIR OWN STUPITY
