I have some questions and Ed is out of town....
 1. Do you use a generator and if so what wattage?
2. The Recoil-3 has 2 plugs. Are they both 15 amp or is one a 20 amp crows foot? I was adding up the amperage and duduced that one had to be a 20 amp plug, I could be way off however.
3. Do you also own a truckmount? If so what kind and how does it compare to the Recoil-3?
I have spoken to Ed and he has all but sold me one. I'm just lacking the capital to purchase at the moment. He's a great guy adn I can't wait to purchase one of his machines, I just need to know some of the details.
Thanks in advance...
Tom

1. I will use a gen. with a heatexchanger, 6500 runing watts.

2. I believe one cord powers - 3 stage vac (11amps) and 2 stage vac (9amps). The second - 3 stage vac (11amps) and pump (6amps). Remember these rating are ampere draw at the intial flick at the switch. Roughly half the rate draw when the motor is idle. I could be wrong. Most of the time I have 15-20 amps available in the homes I've done.

3. I would like a TM only to break into other services. Tile, flood, productivey.

sometimes wonder what's the point of having a portable when you're burning gas using a generator??

I believe the Recoil just plugs into 2 regular ol outlets

It doe's....you can run it off the custys 2 electric outlets....The reason for the generator is convenience and leaving the recoil in the van so it looks like you have a TM.....

Before i got my TM... I ran as short of vac hose as possible (for faster dry times)... Like to the front porch and ran the cords to the generator.....NO More....

How's that Lengend performing steaningpile??????????hot...hot...hot...??
