My Dad recently had a flood in his basement with about 6 inches of water and settled with the insurance company for 2 thousand dollars. The laminate floor and pad are worth that.I tried to expain to him the bottom 4 feet of drywall must come out and be dried and new insulation put in.He figures he has it all under control with an ozone machine says he will tear up a bit of laminate floor every day.I recomended having an airscrubber there and having the furnace cleaned,as his tenant upstairs suffers from allergies, and putting her in a hotel for a week while doing the reconstruction.I can't believe how dumb some people are.

I would be more concerned with the furnace carring the ozone upstairs?
