I have no idea what a auto diverter is. I do know that its almost a $850 option on a PowerClean Freedom XT. Please help. What purpose does the auto diverter serve? Edited by slmnow |

I think if I am not mistaken the auto diverter diverts the exhaust away from the cataletic as to maintain your heat. without this option the unit will dump water for cooling purposes. Most new units have this option.

A diverter valve diverts your hot exhaust around your heat exchangers to keep them from overheating and burning out. This valve must open when you are not using water through your wand. In other words if you stall to remove a stain it will open. |
